Lounge

The Bodega Bar was built in 1891. It was the place to go and be seen back in the day. The back half of the bar was know as the "gentlemen’s bar".  The men could gather to sip whiskey and smoke cigars. The bar itself was ornate with lions heads carved out of single pieces of wood. Until recently, they still looked over the patrons that gathered at the Bodega Bar for spirits and a night out with friends.

Today the Bodega Bar has been restored to its natural luster. Its beauty says it all.  It's a place to gather with friends and family for conversations to share and yet watch your favorite sport on the many flat screen TV's that line the walls. Sit back by the fireplace and talk about the day's events or simply sit back and feel the history of the building come alive while enjoying your favorite beverage.

The Bodega also includes three gaming halls.... slot machines and Blackjack.

“Big Bertha” is one of the largest slot machines in Historic Deadwood and is located in the middle of the Bodega Casino. People come from all over the world and once they see “Big Bertha” they have to give her a try ... just to pull that amazing, huge handle.

The casino floor has many of the latest penny slot machine's which have become most popular. Nickel, quarter, dollar and five dollar slot machines are still popular .

The Bodega Casino has them all!
